I ordered this to use as receipt for my store. The paper quality is quite thin. It doesn’t hold up the ink too well, sometimes just after a little use and you can see the information fades away. Almost all the rolls come with smudges, and I have to cut off a bit of that to use. I give this 3 stars consider it is cheaper than other rolls I found on Amazon, but since they advertise that this is a brand name paper rolls while it clearly isn’t, they better change the title of this product to reflect that this is just generic brand paper.

This paper isn’t luxurious, but it’s a good value for a stable product., June 8, 2015

I own a small retail store, and we have Star TSP100 receipt printers at our sales stations. I initially ordered 50 rolls of these for a trial run, and I intend to purchase them again. This is extremely affordable paper — I haven’t seen a deal nearly as good as this for stores of our size (which don’t need to stock more than a box at a time). The paper is a little bit thin, but our customers haven’t complained. I haven’t been using this brand of paper for long enough to judge how long it takes to fade, but the printing is still easy to read after one year. The box we received was not packed particularly well, and we typically have to discard the first 9″ or so of the roll because of smudges, but of course this doesn’t constitute a significant loss of material.

The only real pain that we experience with this paper is that our customers have to use a clipboard (or just have something underneath) in order to sign their credit card receipts. We’ve tried numerous types of pens, but the paper simply won’t work correctly when placed flat against our (wood lacquered) desk.

1/2 inch smaller than the rolls we got last time form the same vendor. Sent back.
